Q&A, Phil Morrow
Phil Morrow is currently Head of Performance for England Rugby.
He was previously in this role from 2011 to 2025 for Saracens, was S&C for British & Irish Lions in 2017, and Head of Fitness for Ireland Rugby.
Phil has an all round skillset and is known as one of the most effective Heads of Performance in rugby.
Transfer of Strength & Power, Sam Dodge
Sam is currently Head of Athletic Performance at Scotland Rugby, previously in the same role at Ulster Rugby.
Sam has worked in the AFL as a Strength & Power coach, in Women’s International rugby and Bristol Bears.
Sam will delve into what Strength & Power methods he has used to ensure transfer into rugby actions & scenarios.
Q&A, Andy Edwards
Andy is Head of Performance for current World Cup Winners, Springboks. He has been in this role since 2020, also winning the Lions series in 2021.
Previously Andy was at Saracens for 15 years as Head of S&C, winning multiple trophies and working with a group of young players over this period who became established internationals.
Andy is brilliant human, who gets the most out of players and staff around him
Deceleration Performance for Rugby, Dean Benton
Dean Benton is a highly experienced performance coach, currently at Melbourne Storm, and former Head of Athletic Performance for Australia and England Rugby.
Dean will be presenting on Deceleration Performance for the rugby codes:
Why it matters in the context of the game
What is good and poor deceleration
How to teach, train and evaluate the quality.
How current research and related practical recommendations are flawed
Reflections of a Winning Super Rugby Season, Blair Mills
Blair Mills is current Head of Performance for Hurricanes, having just won Super Rugby 2027.
2 years previously he was Head of Performance for Toshiba, winning the Top League in Japan.
Blair has worked in the NRL, NZ 7s, a title winning NZ Chiefs side and Auckland Rugby
Blair will reflect on this journey, and the physical program that helped lead to one of the most dominant Super Rugby seasons.
Return to Play & Perform, Bob Stewart
Bob is Head of Medical for England Rugby, and has been a part of 6 British & Irish Lions Tour.
Highly experienced and respected practitioner, Bob will present on his guiding principles & a fascinating case study of Return to Play & Perform.
Impactful Nutrition for Rugby, James Morehen
James Morehen is England Rugby’s lead nutritionist. He has worked for England Football and Bristol Bears.
James will be presenting about what nutritional strategies impact rugby teams and rugby players. Having worked across multiple teams and at the highest level, James’ experience and insights will be fascinating.
Team Connection, and Player Mindset, Craig White
Craig is a master of understanding how humans and rugby players act, think and connect.
He was Head of S&C for Wales, British & Irish Lions, and London Wasps winning multiple competitions.
Craig will delve into how to influence team connection, coach players mindset to ensure an environment which is optimal for team culture & performance

Understanding what is required in the eyes of Head Coaches / Directors of Rugby re. the physical program is crucial for alignment and an optimal relationship with arguably the most important person.
This is x2 Q&A sessions with top Directors of Rugby - for season 25/26 we had the pleasure of sessions with Premiership Winner, Phil Dowson (Northampton Saints), and Top14 4th placed Paul Gustard (Stade Francais)
Q&A Players Perspective

Players perspectives of S&C are sometimes underestimated, not asked for, or disregarded.
This session will be with highly experienced top club & international players on their experiences of how S&C has helped their careers, what of S&Cs they have appreciated or not, their perception of the demands of the game etc

Thibault Giroud is currently Head of Performance at Bordeaux-Bègles and former Head of Performance for the French National Rugby Team.
Recognised globally for his work in speed, power and repeatability, Thibault has helped shape the physical preparation of some of the world's best teams.
In this session, he will share practical insights and applied strategies from elite rugby environments on developing speed, power and repeatability for performance.
1 to 1 Session - Delving into Specific Practitioner Challenges - date that suits between Sep 26 & June 2027.
A chance for a 1 on 1 session to individually delve into specific areas of interest or challenge to yourself as practitioner looking to improve your work.
Areas of discussion and resources can be sent beforehand to pre-empt the discussion with Ben Pollard, Lead S&C support for World Rugby formerly British & Irish Lions, Stade Francis, England, Saracens & Auckland Blues.
